My school clients can't exactly fire me, and my private therapy clients haven't fired me yet for my drawings. Let's hope this trend continues. Alas, this drawing above is one of my favorite concepts to reflect on.
Why do we spend so much time focused on the things that we can't control while ignoring the things that we can? I have arrived at the easy conclusion...it is easier this way.
And I haven't met a human that doesn't like easy.
The itty-bitty issue is that easy often doesn't fix the things that people need fixed. Fixing shit is hard. The harder the shit, the harder the fix.
As you reflect on your life right here right now, try making a list of all of the things that are going right. And then making list of the things that are not-going-so-right (stuff that may need fixing). And then have some fun applying these lenses....
