Thanks to Ted, I recently was introduced to Stewart Brand -- the famed environmentalist and futurist. Listening to him and reading about his eccentric life is worth a little time. This quote of his resonated with me. How many times do we not like something that has happened and accept it as the way it is? I do this regularly in my new job. Well, I guess everyone else has accepted this as okay, perhaps I should too.
Jesus created a lot of conformists. This means us nonconformists have a huge responsibility to do something. Organize the troops. Create a plan. Make things better. Enliven spirits. Muster the moxie. Fight the current. Do the work.
